According to ChainCatcher, Tunku Ismail Idris, the eldest son of Malaysia's King Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, has announced the launch of a stablecoin named RMJDT, pegged to the Malaysian ringgit. The stablecoin will be backed by cash deposits in local currency and short-term Malaysian government bonds, according to insiders.
