Odaily Planet Daily reports that optical network startup Lumilens has announced the completion of a Series C funding round exceeding $700 million, bringing its latest valuation to $5.51 billion. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Bain Capital Ventures, Meritech, and others, bringing the company’s total funding to over $900 million.
Lumilens primarily provides optical communication and networking products designed to increase data transmission speeds and reduce energy consumption in AI data centers. The company stated that it has begun shipping products to an unnamed hyperscale cloud provider under a multi-billion-dollar customer agreement. (Reuters)
