BlockBeats report: On August 11, Luke Dashjr, Chairman and CTO of the OCEAN mining pool, announced he is taking a leave of absence from OCEAN to focus on developing Bitcoin and related open-source projects. He stated that Bitcoin is currently under serious attack, making true rest impossible. Luke Dashjr also reaffirmed that Bitcoin has only one chain and explicitly stated his opposition to any forked versions.
Previously, Wang Chun, co-founder of F2Pool, publicly criticized Luke Dashjr, stating that he was "not only financially bankrupt but also personally bankrupt in terms of credibility" following the failure of the BIP-110 fork.
