IT Home, October 26 — Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, recently posted about the topic of car manufacturing. He believes that building cars is not about creating black boxes, nor should it involve rushing out vehicles.
Li Xiang introduced that the upcoming 2026 Li i6 will be equipped with the Lianshan battery, which is fully designed by Li Auto—from materials and cells to the battery pack—and is fully integrated with the vehicle’s data. Li Auto takes full responsibility for its safety, quality, performance, and lifespan.
As planned, Li Auto will also livestream today the disassembly of the 2026 Li i6, showing exactly what materials are used, why they were chosen, and explaining every component in detail.
According to previous reports from IT Home, the 2026 Li Auto i6 is scheduled to launch on October 28 and will begin deliveries in early November. The vehicle is touted with six major upgrades:
- Better lighting: ADB matrix headlights for brighter illumination. Intelligent shading prevents glare for oncoming vehicles. Corner-following function lights up blind spots around curves. Wider and longer visibility makes night driving feel safer.

- More comfortable seating: Zero-gravity seats in the front, oversized recliners in the rear. The front row features dual zero-gravity seats with a 150° recline angle, allowing individuals up to 1.85 meters tall to lie down comfortably. Enjoy 18-point massage therapy for the waist, back, and hips, along with a four-way adjustable leg rest. The second row offers a queen-sized seat with a 140° recline angle and a comfortable leg rest.
- Larger screens: Front-row panoramic screen and second-row entertainment screen. A flagship-grade 29-inch 6K panoramic screen offers an expansive view with all information clearly visible. The second-row 21-inch 4K entertainment screen delivers crisp, immersive audiovisual experiences.
