Kyrgyzstan has launched USDKG, a token backed by 376 kg of audited gold, on the Tron blockchain. The token supports 50 million units initially, with plans to expand gold reserves to $500 million. The Finance Ministry-owned issuer allows token redemption for gold, USD, local currency, or crypto after KYC. What is USDKG? It’s a stablecoin designed to cut cross-border payment costs and boost speed.
