Huo Xing Finance reports that on September 14, the Korea Exchange officially launched after-hours trading at 9:00 AM Beijing time on September 14. Normal trading hours remain from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM; under the new system, investors may continue trading until 8:00 PM after the regular market close. Regarding pre-market trading, due to industry feedback regarding the significant burden of IT system development and operational staffing, the Korea Exchange has postponed the originally scheduled launch of pre-market trading to the end of 2027. Regarding market-anticipated inclusion of ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) and ETNs (Exchange-Traded Notes) in after-hours trading, citing concerns over market volatility, the Korea Exchange stated that ETFs and ETNs will not be included in after-hours trading for now.
