Odaily Planet Daily reports that Kimi posted on X that the market response since the launch of K3 has far exceeded expectations, with user demand over the past 48 hours approaching the upper limit of existing GPU computing capacity. To ensure the experience of current subscribers, new subscription services have been temporarily paused. Existing subscribers’ usage will not be affected. The company is rapidly expanding its computing resources and will gradually restore new user subscription access in subsequent phases.
In addition, the future membership system will be divided into two more targeted products: “Kimi Membership,” designed for the Kimi web platform, app, and office scenarios, and “Kimi Code Membership,” focused on programming workflows, to enable more precise allocation of computing power and enhance service stability.
