ChainCatcher report: On-chain investigator ZachXBT has updated that funds related to the KelpDAO attack have begun to be moved, with approximately $1.5 million cross-chain transferred from Ethereum mainnet to the Bitcoin network via Thorchain, and an additional $78,000 transferred via Umbra. The initial funds for the attack address originated from Tornado Cash, and fund laundering and cross-chain transfers are still ongoing.

On-chain data reveals that funds linked to the KelpDAO attack have initiated cross-chain movement. Approximately $1.5 million was transferred from Ethereum to Bitcoin via Thorchain, with an additional $78,000 moved through Umbra. The attack addresses originally withdrew funds from Tornado Cash. Laundering and transfers remain ongoing. The Bitcoin network upgrade continues to expose vulnerabilities in cross-chain security.
