According to ME News, on November 5 (UTC+8), Keel Infrastructure (formerly Bitfarms) sold 2,520 BTC in the third quarter, generating approximately $192 million, effectively liquidating its Bitcoin reserves. As the company transitions its business toward AI data center infrastructure, it plans to sell newly mined Bitcoin on a daily basis.
Keel stated that revenue for the third quarter of 2026 was $28 million, compared to $68 million for the third quarter of 2025. The primary reasons for the revenue decline were the deliberate shutdown of the U.S. Bitcoin mining operations in the second quarter of 2026 to advance high-performance computing and artificial intelligence, along with a decrease in the average price of Bitcoin. Keel sells 2,520 BTC in Q3, shifts to AI data center operations
KuCoinFlashShare
Keel sold 2,520 BTC in Q3 2026, earning $192 million and nearly depleting its Bitcoin holdings. The company now plans to sell mined BTC daily as it shifts focus to AI data centers. Q3 revenue fell to $28 million from $68 million a year earlier, partly due to a mining shutdown in Q2 2026 to prioritize AI and HPC. Bitcoin’s price decline also negatively impacted revenue. Investors are advised to monitor altcoins as market dynamics evolve amid pending inflation data.
