ME News reports that on October 21 (UTC+8), the prediction market platform Kalshi entered into a三方 collateral management arrangement with the crypto custodian BitGo. Clients of Kalshi Prime, Kalshi’s U.S.-registered futures commission merchant, can now use digital assets held at BitGo Bank & Trust as collateral to secure loans for margining futures positions on the Kalshi exchange. The loans are provided by Kalshi Katalyst, a lending affiliate of Kalshi Prime. Eligible collateral includes BTC, ETH, and stablecoins compliant with the GENIUS Act, with additional custodians expected to be integrated in the future. Earlier this year, Kalshi launched perpetual contracts for gold, silver, and cryptocurrencies, and has applied to introduce perpetual products linked to oil and U.S. equities.
