Derived from Captainaltcoin, Japan’s Digital Agency has included JasmyCoin (JASMY) in official government documentation, marking its integration into the national digital identity framework. The Personal Data Locker (PDL) is now cited as a formal case study for local governments and private companies, linking JASMY to Japan’s existing identity verification system, JPKI. Jasmy Thailand highlighted that this integration positions JASMY as a foundational component of Japan’s digital infrastructure, enabling secure, user-controlled data storage and identity verification. The move is seen as a major validation for the token, shifting its narrative from speculative trading to practical, real-world application.
