ChainThink reports that Intel (INTC.O) will release its earnings report after the close of U.S. markets on Thursday, July 23.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect Intel's Q2 adjusted earnings per share to be 22 cents, with revenue of $14.4 billion.
Bank of Montreal analyst Srini Pajjuri said server CPU sales are expected to maintain double-digit growth throughout the year. The market will also be watching Intel’s workforce reduction plan for its data center division and whether the company discloses further details regarding a potential new client, Apple.
In May, it was reported that Apple and Intel had reached a preliminary agreement for Intel to manufacture some chips for Apple devices. On June 18, Trump posted that Apple had agreed to collaborate with Intel to design and manufacture its chips in the United States.
