As per Bijiie, Bitcoin's potential to reach $1.5 million by 2030 is no longer a fringe speculation but a serious consideration for institutional investors. The asset is transitioning from speculative to systemic, driven by macroeconomic catalysts and growing institutional adoption. A 2025 survey by Coinbase/EY-Parthenon found 83% of 352 institutional investors plan to increase crypto allocations, with 59% targeting over 5% of AUM in digital assets. The U.S. government has also taken steps to normalize Bitcoin, including establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve in March 2025 and approving spot Bitcoin ETFs like BlackRock’s IBIT, which alone managed over $50 billion in AUM by late 2024. Analysts from Bernstein and Unchained suggest Bitcoin could reach $200,000 by 2025 and $1 million by 2030, based on ETF inflows and institutional demand. ARK Invest projects a $1.5 million price in a bull case by 2030, assuming 3% global portfolio allocation. Despite regulatory and volatility risks, institutional infrastructure is helping normalize Bitcoin as a tradable asset.
