Institutional holders own 29.8% of circulating Bitcoin, or 5.94 million BTC, according to Glassnode data cited by ChainCatcher. This includes listed companies (107,000 BTC), governments (62,000 BTC), U.S. spot ETFs (131,000 BTC), and exchanges (294,000 BTC). The data shows what is becoming a clearer picture of crypto ownership concentration among major entities.
