Inner Circle Esports and mousesports are set to square off in a best-of-3 upper bracket semifinal at the BLAST Open Fall 2026 on August 29, with nothing less than a playoff berth on the line. The winner punches a ticket to the BLAST Premier playoffs in Porto, Portugal. The loser drops to the lower bracket and has to fight through elimination rounds just to stay alive.
The BLAST Open Fall 2026 carries a $1.1 million total prize pool, and only the top three teams from each of the two double-elimination groups advance to the playoff stage running September 4-6.
How both teams got here
On August 27, Inner Circle took down Team Vitality in a clean 2-0 sweep, winning 13-8 on Anubis and 13-16 on Cache. MOUZ, meanwhile, dispatched 9z in a 2-0 series.

The veto process has produced a compelling three-map lineup. Inner Circle selected Ancient as their pick, MOUZ chose Mirage, and Nuke sits as the decider if the series goes the distance.

The BLAST Open group stage runs through August 31 in Copenhagen, giving losing teams in the upper bracket a narrow window to recover through the lower bracket before the Porto playoffs on September 4-6.
