PANews, August 3: According to Sifted, European venture capital firm Index Ventures recently announced the closing of a new $2 billion fund, bringing its total assets under management to $3.5 billion. The new fund consists of three components: a $400 million seed fund, a $900 million early-stage venture fund, and an additional $700 million allocated to its existing growth fund. Index Ventures stated that the new capital will continue to support founders "from their first round of financing through to IPO and beyond," covering markets in Europe, Israel, and the United States.
