ICBC Singapore Branch has launched a digital RMB personal wallet recharge pilot for overseas users, supported by the Digital Currency Research Institute of the People's Bank of China and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Singaporean visitors can now register a digital RMB wallet via the official app and recharge using ICBC Singapore mobile banking. The initiative aligns with broader efforts in digital asset regulation and Countering the Financing of Terrorism. It enables seamless payments for travel, dining, shopping, and accommodation in China.
