Armonk, New York, October 1 /PRNewswire/ — The IBM (NYSE: IBM) Board of Directors has elected Frank Baker to the Board, effective October 1, 2026.
Frank Baker, aged 53, is a co-founder and managing partner of Siris Capital Group, LLC (“Siris”), a leading private equity firm that has deployed over $9 billion in equity capital across technology, telecommunications, and data-related companies since its inception.

Before joining Siris, he served as a managing director at Ripplewood Holdings and began his career in mergers and acquisitions at Goldman Sachs. He currently serves as a trustee of the University of Chicago, chairman of the board of the Robert and Ethel Kennedy Center for Human Rights, and a trustee of Deerfield Academy.
Baker was born and raised near Detroit, Michigan, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago.
