Hyperliquid, a decentralized exchange with over $2.73 trillion in trading volume this year, has won the Decrypt 2025 Best Project Award. Founded by Jeff Yan after FTX’s collapse, the platform has drawn users with high-leverage perpetual contracts and a permissionless model. Despite concerns about 40x leverage and its decentralization, Hyperliquid has lowered trading barriers and boosted DEX adoption.
