From the net position structure, funds are withdrawing from SK Hynix and SanDisk long positions and consolidating toward Micron. Within the sample, Micron (MU) recorded $6.242 million in new long openings and $3.743 million in long closures today, resulting in a net increase of approximately $2.499 million. Three addresses participated in opening longs, with two of them opening positions exceeding $1 million each. In contrast, SK Hynix (SKHX) opened $689,000 in longs and closed $2.164 million in longs, yielding a net decrease of $1.475 million; SanDisk (SNDK) opened $2.324 million in longs and closed $10.299 million in longs, resulting in a net decrease of $7.974 million. Combined, the two experienced a net long reduction of approximately $9.449 million. Capital flow has reversed compared to yesterday. During the same period yesterday, Micron recorded a net long reduction of $1.034 million, while SK Hynix and SanDisk posted net long increases of $2.679 million and $2.407 million, respectively. Today, Micron’s long opening volume rose 90.4% to $6.242 million from $3.278 million yesterday, making it the only one of the three storage stocks to register a net long increase. Price performance reflects this divergence. As of 17:00 Beijing time, Micron has declined 23.3% over the past three days, while SK Hynix and SanDisk have fallen 25.8% and 32.2%, respectively. Although Micron remains in a downtrend, it has outperformed both by approximately 2.5 and 8.9 percentage points. Open interest data further confirms this trend: from last night through this afternoon, Micron’s open interest increased by approximately 8.5%, SK Hynix rose just 0.2%, while SanDisk declined 24.8%. Among the top 10 largest positions by size, Micron longs account for approximately 53.3% of capital; conversely, 66.7% and 82.4% of capital in SK Hynix and SanDisk positions, respectively, are on the short side.
