ChainCatcher report: HL HUB (Community) posted on X that Hyperliquid is expected to receive its first AQAv2 reserve yield distribution tomorrow. Approximately $14.5 million in passive yield generated from USDC reserves will be transferred to the Assistance Fund for HYPE buybacks. According to AQAv2’s yield distribution mechanism, Hyperliquid stablecoin deployers must allocate 90% of their reserve yields to the Hyperliquid protocol, with 100% of these funds dedicated to repurchasing and burning HYPE tokens. Stablecoin reserve yield distributions are accrued and settled on a 30-day cycle, with yields automatically transferred to the Assistance Fund on the 8th day after the cycle ends. Official yield accrual begins on August 26, with the first yield payment scheduled for October 3.
