Hyperliquid’s foundation has proposed burning 13% of circulating HYPE tokens, or 920 million, from the HYPE Assistance Fund and future inflows. The move aims to boost scarcity and support price. Validator voting starts December 21 at 04:00 UTC, with results on the 24th. On-chain data shows HYPE’s price dropped over 10% in 24 hours, trading above $24. The token remains on many altcoins to watch lists.
