What to Know

  • HYPE recorded $1.53 million in positive spot net inflows, with its 12-hour net flow change increasing by approximately 353.49% overall.
  • Futures posted $9.59 million in net outflows, showing leveraged exposure weakened while direct spot demand maintained its broader positive balance.
  • HYPE trades near $56.58, with a $57 breakout potentially opening movement toward resistance around the $60 to $61 region.

Hyperliquid’s HYPE has recorded a 353.49% jump in 12-hour spot net flows as its price pushes toward a $57 breakout. According to Coinglass, HYPE attracted approximately $8.84 million in spot inflows during the period, while outflows reached about $7.31 million. Consequently, the difference produced roughly $1.53 million in positive net inflows, highlighting stronger buying across the broader trading window.

Meanwhile, HYPE trades near $56.58, having recovered from the $52 region and approached an important cluster of technical resistance. The combination puts spot buying at the center of the breakout attempt rather than leaving the recovery dependent entirely on leveraged trading.

However, shorter-term spot flows show that buying strength has not remained consistent across every measured period. Four-hour net flows stand near negative $381,000, while eight-hour net flows remain negative by approximately $287,000.

Hence, accumulation during the earlier portion of the 12-hour window contributed heavily to the positive overall reading. More recent selling has weakened the momentum, although the broader measurement still shows buyers holding an advantage.

HYPE Targets $57 as Futures Traders Reduce Exposure

Derivatives flows provide an important contrast because futures activity remains negative while HYPE approaches the $57 resistance zone. Twelve-hour futures outflows reached approximately $102.25 million, compared with $92.66 million in inflows.

Consequently, futures recorded a negative balance of about $9.59 million, while four-hour and eight-hour measurements also remained negative. The divergence suggests HYPE’s price recovery has developed alongside reduced leveraged exposure rather than increasing futures positioning.

Spot purchases represent direct demand for HYPE, whereas futures contracts provide price exposure without requiring traders to purchase the underlying asset. Therefore, stronger spot accumulation combined with futures outflows gives the current breakout attempt a different structure from a leverage-heavy rally.

Technically, HYPE faces immediate resistance around the levels separating its current price from a confirmed move above $57. Its 100-day moving average sits near $56.65, while another short-term average remains around $56.87.

A sustained move above $57 could establish that region as support and strengthen the token’s recovery structure. Moreover, buyers would then face another significant obstacle around the 50-day moving average near $60.69. Breaking through the $60 to $61 range could expose HYPE to the $64 to $66 region. However, negative shorter-term spot flows could limit that scenario unless buying pressure strengthens again.

Additionally, the rising 200-day moving average around $50.94 provides an important support area beneath HYPE’s current market price. HYPE’s 353.49% spot-flow increase has strengthened the setup around $57, while declining futures exposure reduces the role of leverage. Nevertheless, holding above $57 remains crucial for confirming whether spot buyers can support a broader recovery.
