ChainThink reports that on August 26, Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff Yan announced that the manual borrowing feature of HyperCore has gone live on the testnet.

All borrowing functions on the mainnet are currently limited to portfolio margin mode. The HyperEVM smart contract can access HyperCore's lending and borrowing functions via CoreWriter and read-only precompiled contracts.
