Hyper Foundation has proposed a validator vote to recognize HYPE tokens in the Assistance Fund as permanently burned. These tokens, sent to an inaccessible address, are already unrecoverable. The token launch strategy aims to secure validator consensus without protocol changes. Approval would confirm these tokens are permanently removed, reinforcing trust in Hyperliquid’s token supply model.
