PANews, July 31: According to MLM, since the HYPE team tokens began unlocking in December 2025, approximately 4.93 million HYPE tokens have been allocated to team members, valued at around $270 million at current prices, representing roughly 0.493% of the total supply. Of these, approximately 1.19 million tokens have been sold on secondary markets, yielding about $32.5 million, while around 3.14 million tokens have been transferred to OTC platforms, valued at approximately $132 million at the time of transfer. In total, about 4.33 million HYPE tokens have been sold for approximately $165 million. During the same period, the rescue fund has cumulatively repurchased about 9.8 million HYPE tokens, investing approximately $364 million—averaging around 1.23 million tokens and $46 million per month—resulting in a repurchase rate more than twice the rate at which current and former team members have sold their tokens.
