In accordance with HashNews, Huaxia Bank recently led the issuance of an innovative financial product — 'Blockchain + Digital RMB' bonds, totaling 4.5 billion yuan. The bonds utilize a 'blockchain ledger + digital RMB collection' model, ensuring real-time, tamper-proof information recording throughout the issuance process, with investors able to instantly access relevant data. Funds were raised directly via digital RMB, streamlining multiple intermediate settlement steps. The issuer is Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huaxia Bank. Initially planned for 3 billion yuan, the offering included a 1.5 billion yuan over-allotment option, which was fully exercised, resulting in a full 4.5 billion yuan raise. The bond's coupon rate is set at 1.84%, with a 3-year term.
