Shanghai, October 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — HSG Laser celebrated its 20th anniversary in Shanghai on October 11, with attendees including clients, strategic partners, industry experts, and media representatives from around the world. The event marked two decades of HSG’s journey in laser manufacturing and highlighted its ongoing commitment to technological innovation, global expansion, and delivering long-term value to customers.
20 years of innovation: From China to the world
During the event, Ricky Wu, HSG Laser’s rotating CEO, reviewed HSG’s development journey: the company has grown from a local laser equipment manufacturer in Guangdong to a global provider of high-end laser solutions.
Looking ahead, HSG will focus on three strategic priorities: product and technological innovation, global service capabilities, and localized market operations. These initiatives aim to strengthen HSG’s ability to deliver high-performance solutions and seamless support to manufacturers worldwide.
Launch five-year product strategy
Jerry He, Head of Global R&D and Product Development at HSG Laser, introduced that HSG is evolving from an independent laser equipment provider into a supplier of automated and intelligent manufacturing solutions. He also previewed several new products, including the dual-tower automated system GT PRO+STORE PRO, the high-speed heavy-duty tube laser cutting machine TL3 PRO, the bevel laser cutting machine GV, the tube laser cutting machine TS2 PRO, and the high-speed laser cutting machine GFA PRO. These products will be showcased at MWCS Shanghai 2026, FABTECH Las Vegas 2026, and EuroBLECH Hanover 2026.
HSG also unveiled its five-year product strategy, focusing on gradually evolving from high-performance standalone equipment to intelligent manufacturing units and integrated production lines.
Launch the "HSG Light of Reading" charity initiative
On its 20th anniversary, HSG also announced a donation of RMB 2 million and, in partnership with the China Social Welfare Foundation, launched the “HSG Light of Reading” charity initiative. The first phase plans to build 40 rural libraries, expected to benefit approximately 25,000 students, with support including book donations, reading programs, and teacher training.
HSG has also established a "Charity Partner" program, allowing customers to participate by purchasing equipment and supporting the development of reading resources in rural areas.
Looking ahead to the next 20 years
HSG Laser states that, having established itself in China, the company is continuously strengthening its capabilities in technology, products, services, and international operations. As HSG embarks on its next 20 years, it will continue to collaborate with global customers and partners to advance high-end laser manufacturing and create greater value for the global manufacturing industry.
