Odaily Planet Daily reports: The Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Securities and Futures Commission, the Insurance Authority, and the Mandatory Provident Fund Authority, in collaboration with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, have announced the participants of the first phase of the Generative AI (GenA.I.) Sandbox++. Out of nearly 100 submitted proposals, 36 use cases have been selected for the first phase of GenA.I. Sandbox++, involving 30 financial institutions and 27 technology partners, including Bank of China (Hong Kong), China Asset Management, Ant Blockchain, Google, and IBM. The first phase of GenA.I. Sandbox++ will focus on exploring agentic AI applications. In addition to content generation, the selected use cases will further investigate how to responsibly enhance AI autonomy. Testing will cover end-to-end processes in areas such as customer onboarding, payments, insurance claims, and customer interactions.
