Bitcoin news broke Tuesday as Hive Digital Technologies ramps up Bitcoin mining in Paraguay, boosting daily output from 3 to 10 BTC. Executive Chairman Frank Holmes said the company will keep expanding despite market volatility. Hive plans to leverage Paraguay’s cheap hydroelectric power for Bitcoin mining and HPC operations. Holmes called the two businesses complementary, with Bitcoin mining funding HPC growth. Paraguay’s supportive policies and energy surplus are helping Hive build high-capacity data centers.
