AI + crypto news: Hermes Bot Mode is now live, allowing AI bots to self-organize into groups of 2–6. This feature, announced by Nous Research, enables each Hermes Profile to function as a persistent bot with memory, skills, and chat capabilities. In one example, Qwen, Kimi, and GLM collaborated on a game project, with Qwen assigning tasks, Kimi suggesting roles, and GLM reviewing documentation prior to user confirmation.

According to Beating Monitor, Nous Research has officially integrated Bot Mode into Hermes Desktop with default activation. Previously, it was an independent testing plugin. Now, each Hermes Profile can directly become a long-term bot with its own model, memory, skills, and chat capabilities. You can bring 2–6 bots into a group chat to let them discuss and divide tasks among themselves. One user added bots such as Qwen, Kimi, and GLM into the same game project. Qwen, based on GLM’s prior experience, determined that GLM was suited for frontend work; Kimi directly suggested assigning specific tasks. GLM then independently reviewed the project documentation and returned to confirm with the user before starting.
