Key Insights:

  • HBAR crypto approached resistance after rebounding from its July low.
  • Canary’s fund held almost 698 million HBAR tokens.
  • Hedera led Santiment’s RWA development ranking on July 22.

HBAR crypto traded near $0.0738 on July 23 after rebounding from $0.0653. The move followed fresh fund accumulation and stronger tokenized asset development data. However, the token remained below its first major Fibonacci resistance zone.

The setup mattered because institutional exposure improved while price structure stayed weak. That divergence left traders watching whether demand could push HBAR through nearby resistance levels.

HBAR Crypto Gains as ETF Holdings Expand

TradingView data showed the HBAR price at $0.07376 during early July 23 trading. The token had recovered from a July low near $0.06527. It still traded below $0.07576, the chart’s 0.236 Fibonacci retracement level.

CoinMarketCap placed HBAR near $0.0731, with daily volume around $85.7 million. The data also showed a market value of nearly $3.2 billion. Those figures supported the rebound, but they did not confirm a broader trend reversal.

Canary Capital’s official holdings page showed its HBAR trust held 697.68 million tokens on July 23. Those holdings carried a market value of $50.04 million. The fund reported 5.13 million shares outstanding.

Canary’s records also showed shares increased from 5.07 million on July 17. Shares reached 5.13 million by July 20. That increase suggested net creations, although Canary did not publish daily cash-flow totals.

The trust’s net assets stood at $48.6 million on July 21. Canary also reported a 0.46% premium to net asset value that day. The product charged a 0.95% sponsor fee.

Canary classified HBR ETF as a single-asset digital asset trust listed on Nasdaq. Its disclosures said investors buy shares at market prices, not directly from the trust. The structure can therefore trade above or below underlying holdings.

HBAR Crypto Faces Resistance Above $0.0757

The TradingView chart showed the HBAR price remained beneath several retracement barriers. The first stood at $0.07576, followed by $0.08225 and $0.08749. A stronger resistance cluster appeared between $0.09274 and $0.10021.

Therefore, price structure remained defensive despite the rebound. HBAR had declined from levels above $0.23 during the previous year. It then formed repeated lower highs before stabilizing near $0.065.

Alpha Crypto Signal argued that HBAR had reclaimed a local resistance zone as support. That view depended on price holding above the reclaimed area. The account did not provide audited market data or a defined invalidation level.

The chart offered a narrower test. HBAR had to hold above $0.06527 and clear $0.07576. A daily close above that first barrier would expose the $0.08225 retracement zone.

Failure there would keep price inside its broader decline. A break below the July low would remove the near-term recovery structure. It would also return attention toward lower support near $0.06.

Hedera Crypto Leads Santiment’s RWA Development Ranking

Santiment ranked Hedera first among RWA networks by development activity on July 22. Chainlink ranked second, while Avalanche placed third. Santiment based the ranking on tracked development activity across project repositories.

The ranking strengthened the Hedera crypto institutional thesis, but it did not measure transaction revenue. Development activity showed engineering output rather than commercial adoption. Investors still lacked a direct link between code activity and token demand.

Hedera states that HBAR pays network fees and supports network security. Fees remain priced in U.S. dollars, while users settle them using HBAR. Rising network use could increase token demand, although fixed pricing limits direct revenue sensitivity.

The network has also targeted tokenized finance through institutional infrastructure. Hedera’s public materials describe the network as infrastructure for commercial applications. Its governing council oversees network policy and platform development.

HBAR Crypto Outlook Depends on $0.0757 Break

The strongest market evidence came from the fund’s token holdings and share growth. Canary held almost 698 million HBAR, representing about 1.6% of circulating supply. CoinMarketCap reported roughly 43.79 billion tokens in circulation.

That concentration created a visible institutional channel, but the fund remained small by crypto ETF standards. Its net assets stayed near $50 million. Price also remained far below the chart’s higher retracement levels.

The next verified test sits at $0.07576. A daily close above that level would place $0.08225 in focus. A rejection would keep $0.06527 as the key support level.
