According to ME News, on August 16 (UTC+8), the latest 13F filing from Harvard University’s endowment reveals that, as of the end of the second quarter, its stake in the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) remained unchanged, ending two consecutive quarters of reductions. The endowment reduced its position by 21% in the fourth quarter and by another 43% in the first quarter. As of June 30, Harvard Management Company held 3,044,612 shares of IBIT, valued at $101.4 million. Currently, the endowment’s holdings in gold-related products exceed those in Bitcoin funds. Among the 19 holdings disclosed by Harvard, IBIT ranks 11th, accounting for 2.4% of its $4.26 billion investment portfolio. Additionally, Dartmouth College reported no changes, maintaining its positions in three cryptocurrency ETFs. The total value of its holdings in IBIT, Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF, and Bitwise Solana Staking ETF declined from $14.6 million to $12.4 million this quarter. Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund, Mubadala, held 14,721,917 shares of IBIT as of June 30, valued at $490.1 million—unchanged from March 31.
