KuCoin exchange users have noted that the Grok AI chatbot has spread false claims about a mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Australia. Grok mislabeled a video of a man disarming a shooter as an old clip of a palm tree trimming incident and falsely linked it to a Hamas hostage situation. The chatbot also mixed up the Sydney shooting with a tropical cyclone and a Brown University incident. Grok has previously drawn criticism for biased outputs aligned with Elon Musk’s political stances. KuCoin remains focused on providing accurate and reliable information to its users.
