AI and crypto news broke on July 31 as Google launched Science One, an AI system for automated scientific research. The system ensures all conclusions are backed by evidence, linking each to source data, code, and records. Tested with Gemini 3.1 Pro, it generated 75 papers featuring 100% real citations for 337 references and 100% reproducibility across 12 experiments. On-chain developments and AI advancements continue to reshape the research and technology landscapes.

ChainThink reports that on July 31, according to Google-related information, Google launched Science One, a system designed for AI-driven scientific research with full evidence preservation, capable of performing literature searches, experimental design, experiment execution, and paper writing.

Science One will link each conclusion to its source, code, and experimental records; if evidence cannot be matched, the relevant statements will be revised or removed to minimize issues such as fabricated citations and inconsistencies in methods and code.

Google used the same Gemini 3.1 Pro across five systems to generate 75 papers across five tasks.

All 337 citations generated by Science One are authentic, all 12 reproducible experimental results are accurately matched, and 14 out of 15 papers align with the actual code; the highest fabricated citation rate among other systems is 20.9%.
