Goldman Sachs holds $87.4 million in XRP ETF inflows as of Q2 2026, up $83.1 million from the prior quarter. XRP ETF inflows hit $1.8 billion since launch, with Bitwise’s XRPC ETF crossing $500 million in nine months. Despite XRP falling to $1.38 from $1.70, ETF inflows totaled $110.49 million for the week ending August 28. ETF outflows remain minimal in the sector.

Key Insights:

  • XRP ETF demand shot up among institutions during Q2 2026.
  • Spot XRP ETFs have attracted $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows since inception.
  • Bitwise’s XRPC has surpassed $500 million in AUM within nine months of launch.

Institutional exposure to XRP ETFs expanded sharply during the second quarter, with Goldman Sachs rebuilding a substantial position across U.S.-listed products.

Bloomberg Intelligence data shared by ETF analyst James Seyffart showed Goldman with approximately $87.4 million of XRP ETF exposure at the end of Q2. The figure represented an increase of roughly $83.1 million from the previous quarter and placed the bank ahead of other disclosed institutional holders.

The institutional holdings arrived as XRP ETF flows remained resilient despite XRP retreating from its August high near $1.70. XRP subsequently fell toward the $1.36–$1.40 region, creating a divergence between ETF demand and the underlying token’s price performance.

Goldman Sachs Becomes the Largest Holder of XRP ETFs

Citing the Q2 13F filing, Bloomberg ETF strategist James Seyffart reported that Goldman Sachs is currently the largest holder of spot XRP ETFs, with an exposure value over $87 million. The firm holds a staggering 84 million XRP, of which 83 million were purchased in the last quarter alone.

Jane Street ranked second with approximately $16.6 million, followed by Millennium Management with around $16.2 million in XRP ETF exposure.

Spot XRP ETFs See Inflows Despite XRP Price Pullback

While sharing another data with respect to inflows, Seyffart said that XRP ETF flows have remained surprisingly resilient. The funds have recorded approximately $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows, with capital largely moving in one direction.

Seyffart noted that the inflows are particularly notable when compared with XRP’s price performance during the same period.

For the week ending August 28, US spot XRP ETFs recorded $110.49 million in net inflows. The figure represents the highest weekly inflow recorded by XRP ETFs this year, highlighting strong institutional demand.

The inflows remained strong despite XRP falling roughly 20% from its August peak of $1.70 to $1.38. Moreover, continued capital inflows during the price decline suggest investors may be maintaining their XRP accumulation.

XRP ETFs Hit New Milestone

Amid the strong inflows into spot XRP ETFs, asset managers have been hitting new milestones. Bitwise’s XRP ETF has surpassed $500 million in assets under management. Interestingly, the asset manager reached this milestone only within nine months of launching this product.

The fund, XRPC, is being positioned as a first for U.S. markets, offering regulated access to XRP through an ETF structure. This milestone highlights growing institutional interest in XRP and its use case for real-time global payments.

XRP Price Needs to Defend $1.40 Region

XRP traded around the $1.36–$1.40 region entering September after failing to hold its late-August rally.

The $1.40 area has become an immediate technical battleground following repeated trading around that level. A sustained recovery above it would help stabilize the short-term structure after XRP fell from approximately $1.70.

Failure to reclaim and hold the region could leave XRP vulnerable to another test of lower August support. Buyers would need stronger spot-market follow-through before the latest ETF inflows translate into a clearer price recovery.

For now, XRP ETF demand remains the stronger measurable institutional signal. Goldman’s $87.4 million disclosed exposure, Bitwise’s $500 million asset milestone, and the $110.49 million weekly inflow show continued interest despite XRP’s pullback.
