ChainThink reports that on September 10, Apple officially launched its first foldable iPhone Duo.

Goldman Sachs believes its pricing strategy and product design have exceeded expectations and maintains its shipment forecast: 14 million units in the base case and 35 million units in the optimistic case by 2026.

When unfolded, the iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch inner display—the largest ever on an iPhone—and when folded, it uses a 5.4-inch outer display with an area equivalent to 90% of the iPhone 18 Pro's screen.

Both displays support ProMotion, always-on display, and up to 3000 nits outdoor brightness.

The new device features a dual-battery architecture, offering up to 44 hours of video playback when using the external display. It is available in Star White and Night Sky color options, with storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB, starting at $1,999 in the United States.

Pre-orders begin on October 16, with official launch on October 23, available first in over 70 countries and regions, including China.

In China, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at ¥9,999, the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ¥10,999, and the iPhone Duo starts at ¥15,999.
