Genmab presented updated Phase 2 results on Monday for petosemtamab combined with pembrolizumab in first-line recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. The combination achieved median overall survival of 28.2 months. The overall response rate reached 63%, with complete responses in 19% of evaluable patients. Median progression-free survival reached 9.0 months. An estimated 55% of responders retained a clinical response at 24 months.

Disease control rates in the first-line and second-line settings reached 95% and 93%, respectively. Adverse events led 5% of mFOLFOX6 patients and 3% of FOLFIRI patients to discontinue treatment. The combinations caused no treatment-related deaths.
