Huo Xing Finance reports that on November 5, according to official announcements, Genius.fun has launched a token buyback mechanism based on fee revenue, with the first eligible token being GSTOCK. According to the announcement, 20% of the fee revenue generated by Genius Foundation from GSTOCK trading pairs will be dedicated to repurchasing GSTOCK. Additionally, this mechanism is not limited to GSTOCK; other tokens with a market capitalization exceeding $2 million are eligible to apply for the same arrangement—allocating a portion of the fee revenue generated from their trading pairs toward token buybacks. This means that qualifying projects can apply to link transaction-generated fees to token buybacks, with GSTOCK serving as the first pilot token for this mechanism.
