Huo Xing Finance reports that on August 13, "BTC OG Insider Whale" Garrett Jin released this week’s market report, characterizing Korea’s market rebound as a broad consolidation rather than a new trend—SK Hynix rebounded consecutively after retesting the 1.42 million KRW level, closing up 5.9% at 1,593,000 KRW on August 13; the KOSPI has risen 20% from its July low, entering a technical bull market, but foreign investors have not shifted to long-term holdings, and leverage ETFs continue to weigh on momentum. Garrett Jin identified $1,150 (approximately 1.63 million KRW) as the first profit-taking level, with the next target at $1,300 (1.85 million KRW). Garrett Jin also noted that gold posted its strongest weekly gain since January, rising +7.8% to $4,388, driven by the July non-farm payrolls decline of 23,000 jobs and softer CPI data, which cooled September rate hike expectations; however, the asset is currently overbought in the short term, and any pullback presents an opportunity to accumulate in stages. Bitcoin showed no reaction to these same macroeconomic catalysts, remaining trapped between $62,500 support and $65,000–$70,000 resistance; the bottom structure since $57,700 is gradually forming, and Garrett Jin is waiting for the next buying opportunity following a pullback. Regarding SpaceX, Garrett Jin views its recent performance as a classic case of “bad news exhausted + short squeeze,” where the lock-up expiration itself became a consolidation phase rather than a start of decline. However, the lock-up window remains open, with an additional 319 million shares set to unlock on August 20 and approximately 700 million shares each in September and October. The current range up to $160 is a profit-taking zone, not a zone for chasing higher prices.

Garrett Jin noted a market pullback in Bitcoin as it remains trapped between $62,500 support and $65,000–$70,000 resistance. SK Hynix rebounded after retesting 1.42 million KRW, closing up 5.9% at 1.593 million KRW. The KOSPI has risen 20% from its July low, entering a technical bull market. Altcoins to watch include those responding to foreign investor flows, which remain short-term focused. Gold gained 7.8% for the week but is facing overbought conditions. SpaceX’s rally reflects a bearish news-out plus short squeeze scenario, with unlocking events scheduled for August 20 and beyond.
