According to ME News, on July 22 (UTC+8), Galxe announced that with the full operation of the Gravity L1 mainnet, the network operations of Gravity Alpha mainnet will officially cease on November 1, 2026, at which point the network will be permanently shut down. Assets remaining on the Alpha mainnet after this date will no longer be transferable. Simultaneously, the G staking page on Galxe will be taken offline, and all staked G tokens must be withdrawn before this date. Developers are also required to migrate any dApps, bots, or scripts deployed on the Alpha mainnet to Gravity L1. Galxe stated that the Gravity Alpha mainnet previously served as the first phase of Galxe’s on-chain rollout, handling production traffic and identifying performance bottlenecks, whose insights supported the development of Gravity L1—including Grevm’s parallel EVM execution, sub-second finality, and native oracles for validator attestation.
