PANews, September 7: Galaxy Research’s latest tracking shows that the attackers behind the Coldcard “Wave 3” incident continue to move stolen funds. The attackers previously created 293 2-of-2 multisignature vaults for each victim. Funds were first cross-chain transferred to Ethereum via THORChain on September 2, and recently moved into CoinJoin mixers. Vaults ranked 1–11 by amount have been processed so far; the next 10 untouched vaults still hold 30.81 BTC, while vaults ranked 61–293 collectively hold 33.77 BTC. The attackers have now transferred approximately 45% of the total stolen coins from this incident.
