The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has proposed settlement agreements with FTX and Alameda executives, including Caroline Ellison, Gary Wang, and Nishad Singh. They will face a crypto ban from corporate leadership roles for up to 10 years. Ellison, who recently served an 11-month prison term, accepted a 10-year restriction. Wang and Singh, who avoided prison, agreed to eight-year bans. All three aided in the prosecution of Sam Bankman-Fried, who received a 25-year sentence for misappropriating over $8 billion in customer funds. The move affects liquidity and crypto markets regulation.
