ChainThink reports that on August 1, it was announced that Google’s parent company Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, and Amazon have committed to investing nearly $2.4 trillion over the coming years in AI infrastructure, including data centers.
Among them, Alphabet has outstanding purchase commitments totaling $902 billion, Meta has disclosed future expenditures nearing $700 billion, and Amazon will increase its capital expenditures this year to $220 billion.
Despite Alphabet and Amazon's free cash flow turning negative, all four companies have raised their spending plans, indicating that major tech firms continue to increase investment in AI infrastructure.
