Fireblocks launches a liquidity market, bringing streamed OTC quotes to stablecoin payments.
MoneyGram, OpenPayd, Reap, TapTapSend, and Zepz have joined as design partners.
New York, October 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Fireblocks, the enterprise platform securing $16 trillion in digital asset transactions, today launched Fireblocks Liquidity Market, bringing multiple over-the-counter (OTC) liquidity providers into a single trading environment for payment companies and other businesses buying and selling stablecoins. Customers can request quotes from multiple trading desks, conduct side-by-side comparisons, and execute trades using their existing business relationships, credit terms, and settlement arrangements with each provider.
MoneyGram, OpenPayd, Reap, TapTapSend, and Zepz have joined as design partners. B2C2 and Zodia Markets are already integrated as liquidity providers at launch, with Cumberland, FalconX, GSR, Hercle, Nonco, and Wintermute set to join soon.
Fireblocks stated that over the past 12 months, over $50 billion in stablecoins have been transferred via the Fireblocks Network from OTC and trading firms to payment companies, fintechs, and banks. The company noted that accessing this type of liquidity still largely relies on manual processes, requiring teams to navigate individual portals, credentials, and integrations for each trading desk. Quotes often expire before comparisons can be completed, and teams must manually verify credit limits and balances.
Ran Goldi, Chief Payment and Network Officer at Fireblocks, said: “Payment companies have placed their stablecoin treasuries on Fireblocks, and most of the trading desks they trade with are also on Fireblocks. The only step still occurring outside the platform is price discovery itself—negotiating execution with individual trading desks via chat and email. Bringing this step inside the platform means that all their trusted trading desks can participate in bidding on every trade, following the same controls and policies that govern their other treasuries.”
Fireblocks states that Liquidity Market provides the team with an integrated view of available credit, margin requirements, and balances across all connected trading desks. Trades can be executed via the Fireblocks Console or API, and each trade is recorded and matched to its original quote. Fireblocks does not charge any spread. At launch, Liquidity Market supports all major stablecoins against the US dollar, euro, pound sterling, and other G10 currencies.
Fireblocks states that, outside its platform, trading desks individually grant trading permissions on their own platforms, with no mechanism to enforce these permissions uniformly across different providers. Within Liquidity Market, the Fireblocks Policy Engine enforces consistent trading limits and execution permissions across all connected trading desks, requiring quorum approval for connecting accounts or executing orders. Fireblocks does not intervene in fund flows or hold assets during the exchange process; settlement is completed directly between the customer and the liquidity provider.
Nick Philpott, Co-Founder of Zodia Markets, said: “Payment companies have become one of the most stable sources of stablecoin trading volume on the market, and they want to trade where their funds are already held. Now that Zodia Markets is available within Fireblocks, they can view our quotes and execute trades without leaving their existing workflows.”
Anthony Silva, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at MoneyGram, said: “Given our scale, liquidity depth is critical, especially in markets that traditionally lack deep liquidity. The ability to engage multiple providers simultaneously, rather than relying on a single trading desk, is how you build resilience in hard-to-reach corridors.”
Richard Usher, Head of Trading at OpenPayd, said: “In the past, adding each new trader meant going through a procurement process and an integration project before seeing the first quote. Now, when a new provider joins the Liquidity Market, it appears alongside the trading desks we already work with. This transforms how many counterparties fast-paced trading desks like ours can continuously onboard.”
Fireblocks states that Liquidity Market is now available to Fireblocks customers, with additional liquidity providers joining in phases. For more information, visit fireblocks.com/products/liquiditymarket.
