Operated by Russian national Mikhail Petrovich Chudnovets, the platform allegedly helped cybercriminals move illicit funds across borders and convert crypto into fiat. The FBI identified illegal proceeds tied to ransomware and account takeovers since 2017. Servers, apps, and websites were taken down, with customer data and transaction records seized for further investigations. The case highlights ongoing scrutiny in liquidity and crypto markets, as regulators like the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation continue to target illicit financial flows.
