Turn the robot's capabilities into programmable, pay-for-use services
Robots are becoming increasingly powerful, but most of their capabilities remain locked within their respective SDKs, local control systems, and one-off integration solutions.
A robot may be capable of delivering items, conducting on-site inspections, capturing images, moving objects, and even performing various complex tasks, but developers still lack a standardized method to link payment capabilities with these robotic actions, thereby enabling the creation of truly autonomous economic applications around them.
To truly realize the machine economy, robots' capabilities must extend beyond technical functions to include discoverability, accessibility, payability, and verifiability.

What is RoboPay?
RoboPay enables developers to expose bot functionalities as paid operations.
Developers can define bot skills, set prices and execution rules, receive authorized payment requests, and return structured results after the bot completes or rejects an operation.
The entire process is very simple:
Pay → Verify Payment → Execute Task → Return Result
We refer to this model as Pay-to-Actuate, which can be applied to humanoid robots, robotic arms, mobile robots, drones, cameras, simulation systems, and other connected machines.
RoboPay is not limited to a single type of application or a single type of caller. Payment bot operations can be triggered by web applications, marketplaces, enterprise workflows, other machines, or AI agents.
Among these, the capabilities for AI Agents are provided by RoboPay Agent Skill, which enables AI Agents to:
- Discover robot service interface
- Complete payment
- Initiate bot action request
These components together form the infrastructure of a new economic system in which AI agents, humans, and machines all become economic participants.

Build applications for the machine economy
The opportunity with RoboPay extends far beyond letting an AI assistant control robots.
For example:
- A logistics platform that pays mobile robots per delivery;
- A property management platform that pays robots per inspection.
- A marketplace for robots where users can purchase arm usage rights by task or by duration;
- A data platform that allows paid access to cameras and robots to perform specified data collection tasks;
- A robot operator can monetize idle robot capacity by offering it as an on-demand service.
In these scenarios, robots are no longer just hardware devices but can become true economic participants, capable of offering various services, receiving requests, performing specific tasks, and generating income.
RoboPay provides developers with a unified infrastructure, enabling rapid application development without the need to redesign payment and execution workflows for each individual bot.
RoboPay Integration Bounty has officially launched
To accelerate ecosystem development, we are officially launching the RoboPay Integration Bounty program.
This is a one-month developer program with a total prize pool of 1,000,000 ROBO.

Reward pool and tasks
This bounty program covers 12 leading robotic platforms, including humanoid robots, robotic arms, and robot dogs. Each platform offers four integration tasks of increasing difficulty, allowing developers to contribute at varying levels of complexity based on their needs.

Each robot has its own bounty task. All rewards follow a first-come, first-served basis: the first Pull Request (PR) that passes review and is successfully merged for a given task will receive the corresponding reward.
Success Criteria
We are looking for integration solutions that can be deployed in production environments, not just simple demos.
Each submission must fully demonstrate the entire Pay-to-Actuate workflow, including:
- Payment authorization request completed
- Send requests via RoboPay and Zenoh
- Successfully trigger the bot to execute the task
- Asynchronous return of execution result
In addition, the submitted content must publicly disclose the bot's capabilities and pricing, ensure payment security, include reproducible documentation, and provide sufficient evidence for reviewers to verify the implementation.

How to participate?
The participation process is very simple:
Step 1: Select a task in the Bounty Marketplace
Select the corresponding robot model and task tier, then click Apply.
Step 2: Navigate to GitHub
The official website will automatically guide you to the GitHub page to submit a Pull Request (PR) in the corresponding repository.
Step 3: Carefully read the Success Criteria before submitting.
Ensure your implementation meets all audit requirements.
Step 4: Official Review
The team will review submissions based on the publicly available Success Criteria.
If your pull request meets the requirements, you will receive the corresponding bounty reward.
