As per The Crypto Basic, European authorities have dismantled Cryptomixer, a Bitcoin mixing service, in a four-day operation led by Europol and involving Swiss and German police. Investigators seized three servers, over $29 million in Bitcoin, the cryptomixer.io domain, and more than 12 terabytes of data. Authorities allege that the service processed over $1.4 billion in Bitcoin since 2016, much of it linked to drug trafficking, weapons sales, ransomware attacks, and payment-card fraud. The takedown is part of a wider European clampdown on crypto-enabled crime, following recent operations in Cyprus, Spain, and Germany.
