Taiwan’s annual Ethereum developer conference, ETHTaipei 2026, will take place on September 13–14 at the Bottle Cap Factory (POPOP Taipei) in Taipei. Now in its fourth year, the event is being expanded for the first time into a two-day format: Cryptonative Day on September 13 targets Ethereum developers and the technical community, while Institution Day on September 14 is tailored for banks and financial institutions, covering topics from core protocol research and on-chain finance to custody, real-world assets (RWA), and institutional-grade applications.
“Cryptographic technology and the real world are converging, and it is the research and engineering behind it that makes this possible. This is the core of ETHTaipei 2026,” said the ETHTaipei organizing team, Martinet.
First Wave of International Speakers Announced
The first wave of speakers for ETHTaipei 2026 includes teams from Polymarket (global prediction market), Uniswap (decentralized exchange protocol), the Ethereum Foundation, ChainSafe (blockchain infrastructure), LINE NEXT, CertiK (blockchain security), OneSavie Labs, Quantstamp (smart contract auditing), Across Protocol (cross-chain protocol), and PIF12, covering protocol research, DeFi, security, cross-chain solutions, and consumer applications, offering attendees cutting-edge technology and real-world insights. From core protocol to institutional finance
Cryptonative Day will cover protocols and core development, Layer 2 scaling, zero-knowledge proofs and privacy, wallets and account abstraction, DeFi, consumer and social applications, security, and developer tools. Institution Day will address institutional-grade wallets and custody, digital asset and smart contract security, stablecoin risk management, RWA and U.S. stock tokenization, AI agent-driven Machine Finance, and blockchain selection for financial institutions.
