As per 36 Crypto, a long-dormant Ethereum wallet has been reactivated after over ten years of inactivity. The wallet, believed to belong to an early Ethereum ICO investor, holds 40,000 ETH, now valued at approximately $119.5 million. The owner initially invested $12,400 to acquire the ETH. A test transfer of 5 ETH ($15,000) was followed by the movement of the remaining 39,995 ETH to a new address. The reactivation has sparked speculation about the owner's intentions, with theories ranging from key recovery to strategic fund consolidation. Similar reactivations have occurred in recent months, including a 20,000 ETH wallet and a 100,000 ETH wallet, both liquidating large portions of their holdings.
